Phase II of MTR extending from the Yau Ma Tei Station interchange to Tsuen Wan was bid in 1978 and in operation by May 1982.  J Roger Preston Ltd was retained to provide technical and contractual advice and administrative assistance for the preparation of the ECS tender submission by HMT, which was awarded in March 1979.
