The Guangzhou Star River Center is located in the middle of Pazhou Island in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. The site is on the south bank of the Pearl River, adjacent to the International Convention and Exhibition Center and Poly International Plaza, and is part of the new planning area of Pazhou. It is situated at the southeast corner of Pazhou Avenue and a planned road. The project features are included office tower with commercial functions at the podium.

The site area is 11,839sqm, with a floor area plot ratio not exceeding 7.0. The office building has a planned construction area of about 82,873sqm, with 48 floors and a building height of 280m. The project also includes a three-level basement for staff dining facilities, a kitchen, limited retail space, mechanical and electrical plant rooms, and a parking area.
