The establishment of the Global Centre is for the provision of total telecom services including internet data centre, cloud computing services and cross-border network services for connecting the telecommunication network of CU with the world via existing and upcoming new submarine cable and land cable systems and long-term development.

The development composed of 3 major operation centres at site, namely Global Solution Support Centre (APAC Countries), International Innovative Service System Centre and Cloud Computing and IoT Research and Development Centre. The site area for this project is about 14,865 sqm, and the total GFA is 37,112 sqm. JRP is responsible for MEP design of the entire project including design for 132kV substation for CLP. The MEP infrastructure planning is capable to support 4,000 racks at its ultimate phase.
