The Redevelopment of Clarke Quay refreshes the tenant mix of Clarke Quay to cater to patrons both in the day and at night and involves a complete refresh of the Clarke Quays Block B Conserved Warehouse building, Tenant Outdoor Refreshment Areas and also the sprucing up of the common areas and the iconic Read Bridge connecting Clarke Quay to Boat Quay.

A new multi-directional fan to improve air circulation and improve thermal comfort will be installed. This new fan cuts energy usage by more than 50 per cent compared with the current fan and comes equipped with a mist cooling function that lowers temperatures by about 2 deg C without leaving water droplets on surfaces.

Green features within the development has been enhanced in order to achieve BCA’s Green Mark GoldPlus certification. These include the upgrading of the existing Chillwater Air Conditioning System with high efficiency chillers and improved air-side equipment, energy monitoring devices linked to the BMS system allowing the building operators to manage the buildings electricity and water consumption.
