The Morse Park Swimming Pool Complex (MPSP), which was opened in 1970, occupies an area of about 1.665 hectares and comprises an outdoor main pool, a secondary pool, a diving pool, a children’s pool, two toddler’s fun pools and 3 teaching pools.

The project is to convert the secondary pool into an heated pool to meet the increasing year–round demand. The project includes a permanent cover and retractable sidewalls or side doors for the secondary pool, construct of a new secondary pool in-situ with provision of heating system, a new outdoor children’s pool, a covered walkway from the exits of the changing rooms to the secondary pool, barrier-free access to the pool so that wheel-chair users and other disabled persons can gain access to the pool and a babycare room.
