Citibank Plaza comprises of two towers; the 47-storey Citibank Tower and the 37-storey Asia Pacific Finance Tower covering a total office area of approximately 153,000 sqm.  The project incorporated the latest technological features to meet Citibank’s stringent requirements of both local and overseas operations.  JRP’s design approach incorporated communication systems channelled through a fibre optic backbone and a computer controlled building management system.  In addition, a sophisticated central private automatic branch exchange (PABX) is provided through Hong Kong Telecom’s advanced telephone system, Citinet.   Flexibility of distributing data based information systems, communication and power is optimised by having raised flooring as a standard feature.  Citibank Plaza incorporates a health club, swimming pool, squash courts, a gymnasium and restaurants.  In 2002, JRP carried out detailed system review and risk assessment on the existing electrical and mechanical services system.
