Once completed, Hong Cheng Plaza will become the iconic landmark building in busy district area of Tinhe District, Guangzhou. Total construction area is about 110,000 sqm² with 2 levels of above ground retail area, 2 levels of below ground retail whilst B3 will be provided for carparking and major MEP plants.

Viewing aerially, the roof of building will look like carps by using the state-of-art monoque and ETFE as the basic materials. In order to provide an oasis within a busy city, over 60% of the site will be covered by landscaping features and water fountains.

The site will also be provided with a number of underground tunnels and above ground bridges to link to the adjoining buildings to make it one of the easiest accessible retail in the city.
