Black Point Power Station (BPPS) is the first natural gas-fired plant and the latest power project in Hong Kong. The station utilises natural gas - a clean burning fuel that leaves no ash and produces negligible sulphur dioxide - and employs some of the most advanced technology yet developed in the power industry in respect of equipment and operating systems. The end result is lower environmental impact and higher thermal efficiency.
