This development is in the heart of Wanchai within an area bounded by Tai Yuen Street, Cross Street, Queen's Road East and bisected by Wanchai Road. The development includes commercial shops (2,431 sqm), offices (21,983 sqm), residential flats – The Zenith (652 residential units, 38,696 sqm) and Government, Institute and Community Facilities (6,320 sqm) on a total site area of 6,781 sqm approx and to be developed in 2 phases, total GFA is 47,500 sqm.

 

The redevelopment scheme included the construction of a new market to replace Wanchai Market and Wanchai Temporary market and resiting the licensed hawkers in Tai Yuen Street and Cross Street. The new air-conditioned market of 5,500 sqm with 184 stalls distributed on 3 level of a 5-level podium with residential towers on top.  Ancillary facilities include a market office, a market refuse room, a loading/unloading bay and public toilet facilities.  The community facilities including day nursery, play room, small group tuition room, music room, big muscle, store room, kitchen, laundry, children’s toilet, reception area, supervisor’s office, office and staff room.
