The Hong Kong Cultural Centre covers 62,000 sqm and includes a 2,300 seat concert hall, a 1,800 seat opera house and a 5,000 seat studio theatre.

The stage engineering systems for the opera house alone provided 64 counter weight sets of both the manual and hydraulically driven type, synchronised point hoists, flytower galleries and grids, fire/acoustic curtains, two curved orchestra pit elevators, stage compensating elevators, revolving stage wagon, cinema screen, draperies and ancillary rigging sets.
